Of course they are. Actually, they're supposed to make good fries and chips.There's also a yam that's purple.
They tastes like regular potatoes, but purple. It's my favorite color, you know.
SHUT. UP. I've had them in chips (premade - veggie chips or some such thing), but I never knew they were available for real people to use!!! That is ... kinda queasy-making, but totally cool!
