Today, the dam broke and I ended up crying at my desk, which could have something to do with the severe back pain I'm experiencing but probably more to do with the pain in my ass, if you know what I mean.

Hee hee. I am giggling like a 12 year old at "the pain in [your] ass." But I don't like this crying at work stuff. You need a break, honey.
Sometimes a good cry is so cleansing. Good for you on just letting it go. Farts work this way also. Workplace be damned.
Hey, if you can't fart and cry in the workplace, then you're just not doing it right!
